Spent a large chunk of time breaking up our scrap glass for the trash.  It was very satisfying.

It was rainy and windy all day because the outer edge of a tropical storm passed over us.  The wind even bent my umbrella.  I was constantly wet from the time I left the house at 7:45am until I got home and finally got dry around 4.  

Wandered the beach this morning hoping that some floats had washed up in the storm but no such luck.  Just a lot of trash and seaweed.  But look at the cool sand textures.

Went to Oirase Gorge.  It's supposed to be a big attraction but we were a bit let down by it.  At least I got a couple of okay photos.

Made some paper flowers today for a group of people who visit the nursing home off base.  They had the idea to hand them out to the residence's to brighten their day.  I used paper straws,  tissue paper, twist ties, and hot glue to put them together.  Hopefully they do the trick.

Early birthday presents are the best birthday presents.

Hubsband got me flowers because this week wasn't going the way I wanted it to.

Went photographing with my film camera and exploring new beaches on my day off.

 Took Betelgeuse out to clean his cage but then he wrapped his feet around my wedding rings and he has quite the grip.

We went to the farmer's co-op off base this morning. Ended up with a bunch of veggies and some flowers.

A 900 yen watermelon.  But they wrapped it up with a bow!
