It was a good float day at Shipwreck beach.

Made the whole apartment smell like roasting jalapenos.  

First Starbucks I've had in 5 months.  Ended up with a coffee jelly frap which was incredible.

spent some time today washing the new large float and using vinegar to get off more barnacles on the one that we already had.

You can't tell but Betelgeuse has his face smashed into what is left of his piece of banana.

Trying not to make all my photos a day embroidery photos this month but it is my main activity.

I am so excited by how this came out.  I also am really excited to photograph it.

I got my special edition of The Tale of Peter Rabbit in the mail yesterday. It's so pretty.

Did my in-processing/orientation for my new job today.  I start work on Monday.  I'm excited to have a job but also not excited to have to be a "new person" again.

We went to the Misawa Tanabata festival.

Not only is it the last day of my hoop a day project, it's also the last day of my summer, and it's day 3,500 of my photo a day project.  So I embroidered our ice cream from last night.
