May 1st, 2016- Day 3,409
Hubsband's work space in our project room. It gets some of the best evening light.
May 2nd, 2016- Day 3, 410
Started 3D printing a large format pinhole camera. I'm very excited about it since large format photography was one of my absolute favorite classes when I was in college.
May 3rd, 2016- Day 3,411

May 4th, 2016- Day 3,412
I usually get all my books secondhand but sometimes I have to get brand new, pretty hard covers.
May 5th, 2016- Day 3,413
I'm nearing a point of too many projects. But the daiso had blocks of rubber for carving your own rubber stamps. There's something really nice about carving into it.
May 6th, 2016- Day 3,414
Skipped doing my Friday apartment cleaning to go on a drive to a beach to hunt for sea glass and sand dollars on shipwreck beach.
May 7th, 2016- Day 3, 415
Found a place right off base that develops film! Half the price and 1000 times quicker than the alternative of mailing it off. It was very exciting. Only problem is that the don't scan negatives onto disks or USB drives.
May 8th, 2016- Day 3,416
it was a bit windy on Lake Ogawara today.
May 9th, 2016- Day 3,417
Rain drop cakes really don't taste like anything special but they're so visually pleasing to me.
May 10th, 2016- Day 3,418
Yesterday it was nice enough for me to walk 3.5 miles around base. Today this was the weather all day.
May 11th, 2016- Day 3,419

Don't know what to do with my beach finds yet so for now they're just in some drawers.
May 19th, 2016- Day 3,427
Misawa citizen's forestry park.
He was exactly the length of the trail's width and didn't feel like moving out of our way so we walked around it.
May 20th, 2016- Day 3,428
Snazzy new faux leather case and strap for my camera. The strap didn't fit through the loops provided on the camera but two thin split rings and a trip to the daiso for some swivel hooks fixed that dilemna.
May 21st, 2016- Day 3429
Grant found a float of his own. His has more of a handmade quality to it than mine. But now we each have one.
May 22nd, 2016- Day 3430
Woke up at 5:30am and everything was covered in fog
May 23rd, 2016- Day 3431
May 24th, 2016- Day 3432
Ended up at the dentist because the nerve in one of my teeth "didn't recover from the trauma of the filling that was put in and has died" So the dentist drilled into my tooth, cleaned it out, put medicine in and put an orange temporary filling in.
May 25th, 2016- Day 3433
Working on an embroidery that was requested from me for Allister's room.
May 26th, 2016- Day 3434
May 28th, 2016- Day 3435
Alphabetizing Hubsband's books means I started checking his books for stuff that I could use for my found in books project. The market for used english language books isn't very conducive to furthering my series. I've ordered a few used books online but a) don't know when they'll get here and b) who knows if they'll have anything cool inside of them (other than the actual story).
May 28th, 2016- Day 3436
photographed a couple more of hubsband's books.
May 29th, 2016- Day 3437
May 30th, 2016- Day 3438
Hubsband went stateside and brought me sake and wasabi kit kats from the airport on his way back home. He knows how to please his lady.
May 31st, 2016- Day 3439
went to a craft store in Hachinohe today and I somehow ended up with fox fabric that is really cute but I have no idea what to use it for.
